Private Lessons & Other Services

For anyone looking for a complete, well-organized "Learn to Sail" Program and/or International Yachting Certificates & License, SailQuest recommends completing online courses and joining scheduled dates for our 7 day OTW CREW/CAPTAIN COURSE.

We can run the OTW CREW/CAPTAIN COURSE as a private class for groups of 4 to 12 students. A private OTW COURSE for less than 4 students is charged the 4 student rate. Contact SailQuest to check for available dates.

SailQuest provides additional instructor/captain services by request:

• Custom Lessons & Additional Training - well-suited to students who have already completed the OTW CREW/CAPTAIN COURSE and would like more time with an instructor for sailing exercises, docking practice, yacht systems review, etc.
• Yacht Orientation - students who have purchased a yacht may find it helpful to go thru the yacht's equipment and systems and do some sailing and docking exercises with an instructor.
• Yacht Survey - potential boat-buyers who would like a yacht inspection/sea-trial assistant before purchasing. Get an independent third-party opinion.
•  Instructor/Captain Service - private sailing lessons, captain services, your boat or ours.
